2024 Annual Adventure Date

Adventure Date is a 24-hour scavenger hunt competition where couples will compete against other couples to earn as many points as possible by completing challenges that will bring them closer together. Earn 15 points by taking a 10-minute walk together. Earn 30 points by having a candle-lit dinner. Join us on an adventure that is sure to create memories and help you reconnect.

The couple with the most points will win the grand prize, valued at up to $250 in DateNight swag and activities! All participants will be entered to win other prizes, focused on things you can do together as a couple.

Schedule of Events

August 23, 2024 5:00 PM:

Kickoff Event at Benedict Park in Brighton, CO (Receive a DateNight totem, other DateNight Swag, and start your Adventure Date!)

August 23, 2024 5:30 PM:

Challenges Lists (see example challenges below) divided into 4 categories (Physical, Creative, Conversation, and Social) are sent via email to all participants and the 24-hour timer starts.

August 23, 2024 5:30 PM - August 24, 2024 5:30 PM:

Couples compete in challenges to earn points and text pictures of those challenges to 970-616-4738.
Leaderboard and Pictures are posted to this site.
Prizes are awarded every few hours to participants.

August 24, 2024 6:00 PM:

Grand Prize Winner is announced.

FAQs

You’ve got questions, and we’ve got answers! These FAQs will be updated as we receive more questions from you, so make sure you check back often for new updates.

  • Register at www.activialpursuit.com/datenight-register

  • The registration fee is $40/couple.

  • Challenges will be divided into 4 categories: physical, creative, conversation, and social. You can do many of them at home but may need to travel for some of them. All of them will focus on building your connection to your partner.


    Sample challenges will be sent so you prior to the event.

  • There will be a grand prize, valued at $250. There will also be 4 other prizes, awarded randomly to participants every 5 hours the competition progresses.

    Additionally, every participant will receive a DateNight Totem and some DateNight swag.

  • Bring a sense of ADVENTURE and an ID for one of the participants to claim your DateNight totem (which will be used to verify completion of activities) and other DateNight swag.

  • You will receive the list of challenges at the kickoff meeting. At that point, everyone will break off and start completing challenges. To prove that a challenge was completed, take a picture of you and your partner completing the challenge with the DateNight token in the picture. Text that picture to 970-616-4738 for verification. Points will then be awarded and the picture and points will show up on the leaderboard.

  • Yes.

  • Yes, but you need to participate with a partner. We recommend that adults or seriously established couples participate together.

  • Skip it! You pick which challenges you want to complete. If one doesn't interest you or fit your relationship, skip to another one. It will be impossible to complete every challenge on the list.

  • After roughly 20 minutes post-submission, you will see the picture and points on the leaderboard.

  • For this first year, we are limiting Adventure Date to 40 couples.

  • The kickoff meeting will be held at Benedict Park in Brighton, CO at 5:00pm on Friday, August 23.

  • Call/text 970-616-4738 to arrange a time to pick up your DateNight token, but the time to complete challenges will not be extended for you.

  • Check the leaderboard.

  • No. Feel free to roam!

  • You can take as many or as few breaks to sleep or relax as you would like, but the time will keep on ticking.

  • Yes.

  • Follow all traffic and other laws. You will only be awarded points for each unique challenge submission (i.e. you will not get credit for multiple submissions of the same challenge.)

  • Inclement weather should have no impact on the event. In the event of an act of God, we will postpone the event.

  • DateNights are always more fun with more people! Complete as many challenges as you'd like with another couple. Each couple will need to submit a photo of the completed challenge for credit.

  • Activial Pursuit, LLC reserves the right to modify these game rules at any time with or without consent from the participants. We strive to be as fair as possible.
