Magic for Scouts!
We are pleased to offer magic workshops for scouts that help kids develop courage, confidence, and character while learning a new skill!
Why bring your scouts this workshop?
The workshop teaches kids that Magic is Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, and Theater.
Each scout will learn 4 awesome tricks (that can even fool parents!), work together to develop their own trick, which they can then perform in a magic show for parents.
How can this fit into our existing program?
We are flexible, and offer up to 4 meetings (30 minutes each) to help the scouts get excited about magic and perform a show. Here is a sample agenda for the 4 weeks.
Week 1: A magic show put on by a local magician, introducing the scouts to the tricks they’ll be learning.
Week 2: Each scout will get to practice the 4 tricks that were performed in the show.
Week 3: The scouts will work together to plan a show for the parents, including a trick they can craft together.
Week 4: Magic Show performed by the kids for the parents.
What do the scouts get?
Each scout will receive:
A special file folder that teaches them each of the 4 tricks and explains how Magic is Science, Math, History and more!
All materials necessary to perform 4 awesome magic tricks.
Personalized instruction from a local magician.
A high-quality, iron-on magic patch (that does a magic trick itself!)
How much does it cost?
Our all-inclusive workshop is available for scouts for $29 per scout, with a minimum of 8 scouts.
